The "Proud less" remains

This could be be a personal opinion, like my previous post on singers (which was purely about personal taste)...But still I am sure lot of us would agree and relish this...

In life, there are many people whom we come across and leave at one stage... we might not have even talked to each other.. but a consistent observation and their consistent behavior is enough to say.. whether they will remain in our mind or not....

In my view, one such trait or character is "PROUD LESS" or in other words "MODESTY"

Somehow, I very often remember those people who are proud less... In this world, where lot of things are working as "entities" eg: so called family, school life, coll life, work life... We often feel more comfortable with those who are proud less.

I have also come across many people who are real "I-specialists".... They often say "I did that", "I solved that", "I proved that", "it was only me who could do that"... Well.. On a slighter note, I completely agree that when it comes to a responsible job, one need to use "i" if it was really "I" who did that...

Few to lists:
my old english teacher , when i was a child... A christian teacher who would tell me even at that age that she is not an complete expert, thou my mom used to say .. she is really an expert...

my closest friend (thou i am not in touch now), who feels more happy to be proud less and is proud less in behavior...

One of my close b tech friends , says that she is not a good chemical engr... she is in IT now.. thats a diff reason altogether... She used to grab chem engg things much faster than me.. but even at that time ,when she was not in IT , and a student of my class... she would say that I am better than her :-).. which I know is not true...

I worked on 2 projects in my current job.. till now.. one was a modeling work done using matlab.. another one was a molecular modeling one.. in former, an organic chemist , a physical chemist and myself were involved in technical side.. my boss did involve slightly in technical part of first but he guided me more technically in the second project... While writing the report for the first project...my boss says "Aarthi.. U should not put my name in the authors list... As I have not contributed to it.... But since I did help in getting matlab software.. connecting to different experts in shell, u may just leave a statement with my name in acknowledgment... "..This is something unusual or surprisingly honest thing from his side...

It is not a surprise why we cant forget few people ... And its also very healthy to remember them, as we also develop that trait in ourselves..
