Old is Gold .......

Today, I have spent almost whole day by listening to the old tamil songs that I downloaded recently...
I can not tell how much happy I am feeling today after such a long day full of those melody songs...
The meanings are awesome... The spirit gets boosted up by listening to such songs ...

Few lines that liked are :-

From "pilai nila irandum vellai nila" -

" எந்நாளும் நம்மை விட்டு போகாது வசந்தம்
தோளோடு ரோஜா இரெண்டு உறங்கும்
தள்ளாடும் பூக்கள் எல்லாம் விளையாட அழைக்கும்
ஏதேதோ ஏழை மனம் நினைக்கும் "

Meaning: (The father represents his 2 kids as roses here)
"This flourish will never leave us on any day
When two roses are sleeping on the shoulder
The dancing flowers are calling for the play
And the poor soul starts thinking about many things... "

From "poove poochadava" -

"ஜீவா தீபங்கள் ஓயும் நேரம்
நீயும் நெய்யாக வந்தாய்
இந்த கணீரில் சோகம் இல்லை"....

Meaning:
"When the life lamps were about to get out of the ghee
You came as the ghee
There is no sorrows in this tear
You gave me all the happiness for life long"

"காலம் கரைந்தாலும் கோலம் சிதைத்தாலும்
அன்பு கரையாது தாயே
நீரில் குளித்தாலும் நெருப்பில் எரித்தாலும்
தங்கம் கருக்காது தாயே"

Meaning:

From "kalyana maalai kondadum pennae"
'வாலிபங்கள் ஓடும் வயதாக கூடும்
அனாலும் அன்பு மாறாதது ..."

Meaning':
"the youthness will go and the age can increase
Even then love will not change"
